Maramel is moving!
It’s been over 3 years that Maramel’s home base has been in Montreal-West. After many meetings and long brainstorming sessions we took the decision to move to a more central location. It took us more time than usual because we were looking for a place that reflected our personality and lifestyle. So, finally, after many months of searching the new location is in Saint-Henri!
What are we going to miss? Montreal-West has been great to us! The neighborhood is calm, quiet and when we went to work we were always driving against traffic (winning!). The people are also fantastic. We will miss Alex the florist, Josie and Jenn from La Frenaie, everyone at La Pasteizza and La Gare. We’re also going to miss seeing some of our clients who lived nearby and would pass by after 5pm to come say hi and chat over a cup of coffee. We’ll remember the impromptu visits and the laughs we had over coffee but there will be much more of that in our new spot.
So, where are we going?
Here are a few clues:
Clue #1 We’ll be right by the water
Clue #2 We can go have lunch at the Atwater Market
Clue #3 The closest metro stations are Lionel-Groulx and Saint-Henri
Clue #4 (Hopefully you’re getting warmer by now) Our new office building is a Chateau!
Answer: Chateau St-Ambroise (That last clue gave it away, didn’t it?)
We are beyond excited to be moving. Most of us live in the neighborhood so the commuting time is significantly shorter AND it’s also more accessible for our clients. It will allow us to have more client meetings at our offices and our photo & video shoots can take place by the Lachine canal (so exciting!). Finally, we’re looking forward to meeting all our Chateau St-Ambroise neighbors.
As of the 9th of July 2018, Maramel will have officially moved in to the new office and we hope to create the same ambiance where you can stop by for a coffee and chat! The coffee and people will be exactly the same but the location will be much more inspiring.
